      The Golden age, La Edad de Oro, was a monthly magazine for Hispanic children of the Americas. It lasted only four issues, July through October of 1889, but in it Jose Marti, the author of its articles and poetry, "the man from The Golden Age," covered an amazing range of topics and expressed nearly his entire philosophy to Hispano-American children, the future adults of the New World.
