Description
Issued in 1874. Twenty cents stamp.
These stamps were issued in 1874 by order of
Marcos Morales, leader of the Cuban Junta in Philadelphia.
Was the first time that the Cuban flag appearead in a
stamp, it was issued with the intention of raising funds
for the revolution, however it was never used because
there was an error in the spelling of "Cuba Libre" and
"Cuba Libra" was printed instead.
Stamps are in mint condition. MNH.
