Cuba Collectibles: Thank you for your comment. We’d like to clarify that the image shown is indeed correct for the 1920 20 Centavos Cuban silver coin (KM# 13.2). All Cuban coins from this period—including this denomination—feature a period after the “G” in “G." (abbreviation for grams) on the obverse.
You may be thinking of the 1920 5 Centavos coin, which has a similar design. On some of those coins, the period may appear faint or worn due to circulation or a weak strike, but it is present upon close inspection. It remains uncertain whether this was an intentional omission or simply a result of a particular run during minting.
