      This is a RED 50 cents "Mother of Pearl" (MOP) chip, (hecha de nacar).

      Real Old Cuban Casino chip. This type of Casino chips were made by casinos for very important people, in this case this very rare chip was made with the initials NGM, for Narciso Garcia Menocal, briefly vice-president of Cuba in the turbulant late 1930's, his brother, Raul Garcia Menocal was Mayor of Havana.
