Medalla Carlos M. de Cespedes
A 2 X 2-1/2 inches Breast
Medal from Cuba for the Order of Carlos Manuel de
Cespedes, established in 1926. It is made of silver
with gold center and portrait of Cespedes and a blue
enamel circle with his name and the date 1868.
This is an original vintage Cuba National Order of Merit
Carlos Manuel de Cespedes medal. This awesome breast
star medal was the highest and the most important medal
award given in Cuba pre Castro.
This "Carlos Manuel
de Cespedes" medal was given only to people who had
served the Cuba in an extraordinary way.
The medals were given along with a diploma signed by
the President of the Republic of Cuba and very few of
these were given.
It is in superb CONDITION.
The Medal was made by one of the finest jewelers
in Havana, " Vilardebo & Riera ",
specialized in the craft of making medals,
military insignias and decorations for the Cuban
government since the early 1920s to the late 1950s.
This awesome Cuban medal will make a superb
