The origin of this piece goes back just a few years ago, a collector of Cuban memorabilia was so enamored with the beauty of these swizzle sticks that decided to ask a well recognized jeweler to make a copy of it in silver to give as a present to some special friends and family. We have been lucky enough to buy a couple of these pieces, including the other most beautiful model of La Red swizzle stick, to most collectors the prettiest of all swizzle sticks known to the world. Very slim chances of ever seen another like this.

This is a Tropicana swizzle stick model made of  Sterling Silver (92.5 % silver).  Size same as original, approximately 6 inches tall. It weights 51 grams or 1.79897 ounces of silver. Photos of front and back of the same piece.

El origen de estas piezas fue hace solo unos años, fueron hechas en Estados Unidos, no en cuba como los revolvedores originales. Un coleccionista de memorabilia cubana estaba tan enamorado de la belleza de estos diseños de removedores, que le pidió a una reconocida firma de joyería que les hicieran copia del diseño en plata. Decidió que este sería un regalo muy exclusivo que nadie mas le regalaría a sus familiares y amigos, sería algo nunca antes visto.
