Gorki Aguila is director of this Cuban punk rock band founded in 1998. (English: Porn
for Richard).
Their lyrics are mostly about criticism of the Cuban government and specially directed
to Fidel and Raul Castro. Strong language about sex in a very explicit way.
Gorki Aguila, the leader of the band, was arrested and charged with
"Peligrosidad Pre-delictiva" in 2008, a very serious charge that can be transalated as
"Dangerousnes pre delictive" which means that in Cuba anyone can be arrested just
because someone may think that you will commit a crime.me
International pressure force the Castros to release Gorky and he was ordered to pay a
fine for a lesser charge of public disorder.
Gorky recently traveled to Mexico and in Sept 2009 he arrived in Miami with this, their new
CD. Groky appearead at Oscar Haza TV show at America TeVe, Canal 41 on Sept 18, 2009.
