Un Peso, Junta Central Republicana de Cuba y Puerto Rico
Encapsulated and rated 50 by PMG "About Uncirculated", they noted "tears", refering to the two tiny (1 milimeter) tears that can be observed on the top and left borders that don't even touch the black frame of the original bill. This note was issued in the city of New York on Aug. 17, 1869 to raise funds for the fight for the liberation of Cuba and Puerto Rico from the Spaniards .
The bill was convertible to bonds in minimun amounts of 100 pesos.
The note is in excellent condition as it can be seen in the image.
